(Ages 2-5 months: Monday at 6:00 pm-7:00 pm // Ages 5-9 months: Monday at 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm)

  • 7/15 - Orientation (no puppies)
  • 7/22 - 1st class
  • 7/29 - 2nd Class
  • 8/5 - 3rd class
  • 8/12 - 4th class and graduation
Level 1 Obedience ($170 / 6 classes)
(Wednesday 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Must have completed a puppy training course and be at least 6 months of age.)
  • 7/17 - Orientation (no puppies/dogs)
  • 7/24 - 1st class
  • 7/31 - 2nd class
  • 8/7- 3rd class
  • 8/14 - 4th class
  • 8/21 - Final class and Graduation

Clint Knox is the owner and head trainer at Knox Canine Training. He started his career in 2006 after adopting his two American Bulldog puppies Vega and Cash. He worked at Petco and Canine Craze before launching his own private business. He is a graduate of the Animal Behavioral College and is also an ABC Certified Dog Trainer.

He has worked to help thousands of dogs and their owners solve behavior problems, and now he wants to work with you and your puppies!

I understand and agree that in admitting my dog, Heart of Ankeny Animal Hospital has relied upon my representation that he/she is in good health and has not harmed or shown aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any animal.
I agree that my dog has not been ill with any contagious disease or condition within the past 30 days. I understand that all dogs participating in behavior classes are required to be current on Rabies (if of age), DAPP, and Bordetella vaccines, and must be current on their flea/tick preventative.
I understand that due to the way that dogs interact with one another, minor cuts, scrapes, and scratches can occur even though the dogs are carefully supervised at all times.
I understand and agree that Heart of Ankeny Animal Hospital, nor any of it's employees, staff, or volunteers will be liable for any illness, injury, death, and/or escape of my pet while he/she is participating in behavior classes. I hereby release Heart of Ankeny Animal Hospital's employees, staff, or volunteers of any liability of any kind whatsoever arising from or as a result of my pet attending behavior classes at Heart of Ankeny Animal Hospital.
I understand that I am solely responsible for any harm, including to any other pet(s), to the employees, staff, volunteers, clients, or invitees of Heart of Ankeny Animal Hospital caused by my dog. I also agree that Heart of Ankeny Animal Hospital shall not be responsible or liable for any lost or damaged personal property belonging either to myself or to my pet.
Photo release: I agree to allow Heart of Ankeny Animal Hospital to use my pet and any images or likeness of my pet while he/she is at Heart of Ankeny Animal Hospital, in any form, for use at any time, in any media, marketing, advertising, illustration, trade or promotional materials without compensation, and I release to Heart of Ankeny Animal Hospital all rights that I may possess or claim to such image, likeness, recording, etc.
Although we carefully screen all applicants, occasionally we discover that this is not an appropriate environment for every dog. Heart of Ankeny Animal Hospital reserves the right to permanently remove any dog from behavior classes at any time. In addition, Heart of Ankeny Animal Hospital reserves the right to deny participation to any dog in behavior class if they feel he/she does not do well interacting with other dogs or people.
